No Stress Tour – New Program

“The first No-Stress-Tour” (francais en bas, deutsch siehe unten)
Summer is the time when lots of things are happening in Germany, also in and around Berlin.
People profit of the sun, they become more active and open up. This offers opportunities,
particular for refugees, to think of new strategies to build up a better communal life.
For this reason CISPM and Afrique Europe Interact, international networks for emancipation and
integration of refugees, are planning a project called „No Stress Tour“, which should take place this
summer from July until October.

Syrische Frau wurde aus Notunterkunft in Berlin hinausgeworfen, weil sie ihre Menschrechte einforderte

Vivian ist eine junge Frau aus Syrien. Sie ist vor dem Bürgerkrieg, der in ihrem Land tobt, und vor den Folgen, wie Arbeitslosigkeit, Hunger und sozialem Chaos geflohen. Alleine ist sie die Route aus dem Mittleren Osten nach Deutschland angetreten. Jedoch ist ihre Geschichte in Deutschland nicht von Zuflucht sondern (symbolischer) Gewalt, Erniedrigung, Frauenfeindlichkeit und Missbrauch geprägt. Die folgenden Ereignisse sind ihre Beschreibungen.

To all Refugees in Konradsreuth and Hof Districts

For about 2 years now in Frauenhof, we refugees from Ukrain and Cheychenia have been living together as family community in Konradsreuth with the status of asylum applicant refugees. We support one another through social cultural exchange in our daily relationship.

Since then, many more refugees have been transferred here to live in the village of Konradsreuth and in other districts of Hof, therefore we think it is time to widen our network and community.

It is our belief in human dignity that motivates us to propose an active and independent platform of refugee community to advance our unity for fundamental human rights, for freedom and for the well-being of refugees.

Germany based Nigerian activist, Rex Osa of the Voice Refugee Forum shed light on the harsh treatment Nigerian refugees and asylum seekers face in Germany and the little help the Nigerian Embassy in Germany provides. “Deportation we know is the culture in Germany,” explained Osa. He described the deplorable living conditions of refugees in Germany and the restrictions put on those with the status. “As a refugee in Germany you are not allowed to go outside your district. If you are by chance caught outside you are penalized,” said Osa, who accused the Nigerian Embassy in Germany of being involved in a “deportation scheme.”

I want to inform you that I am under arrest without having violated any law or committed any crime. This reminds me of the many times I was arrested by the repressive Sudanese regime for my peaceful activism and for defending my rights and the rights of exploited people. In the current era of increasing securitisation of border controls and restrictive asylum and migration politics, the journey to and within the EU is a life-threatening endeavour that has taken uncountable numbers of lives over the last decades. The bordering processes are not limited to the crossing of nation-state borders but also operate in everyday lives inside and across borders. Through processes of exclusion as well as processes of subordinated and differentiated inclusion, borders permeate all aspects of the welfare state, the labour market, and everyday lives. At the same time, there are numerous struggles by migrants who in different ways contest border regimes and racialised practices of policing., These developments are taking place in a context of hyper-polarisation of political reactions. Racist and fascist discourses feed into ideas of fear and emergency, parallel with a renewed growth of humanitarian and activist responses aimed at resisting migration control and challenging these discourses.
