Wir möchten Sie um eine kurzfristige mediale Ankündigung bitten, da “es brennt”! und wir jede Stimme brauchen, um ein Bleiberecht für Hikmet durchsetzen zu können!

Hikmet sitzt derweil in Untersuchungshaft in Essen und ihm droht die sofortige Abschiebung. Wir rufen ganz Berlin zur Solidarität auf und wir freuen uns sehr über den lokalen support der Aktivisten vom Oranienplatz (“O-platz”) und der Initiative MY RiGHT IS YOUR RIGHT und die musikalische Unterstützung von den Berliner Hiphop Größen MC Josh & NASH, Çığır („Spuk nach Rechts“) und den Brüdern von Hikmet, Kefeat und Selami. So haben auch Berliner Hiphopper wie “Sido” und “Kaveh” prompt über ihre facebook fanseiten ihre Solidarität bekundet!

Die größte Minderheit Europas hat keinerlei Echo in der Berichterstattung des deutschen Sommers erlebt. Nachdem Mazedonien, der Kosovo und Albanien nun auch zu “sicheren Herkunftsstaaten” erklärt wurden, gibt es neben der abklingenden Euphoriewelle für Menschlichkeit und Willkommenskultur eine radikale Abschiebehochkultur in Bezug auf Roma, die sofort, explizit vor Weihnachten, aufhören muss.

Refugees demand safe passage to Greece

“We don’t want food, we don’t want water, we don’t want humanitarian help, we want to cross the border by the land. We will cross or die here.”

Since 5 days in Edirne, Turkey, around 3000 thousands migrants (mostly syrians but also aghanis, irakis and others) gathered, following a call started on a Facebook page (“Crossing no more”), to ask for the turkish-greek border to be opened for them. They refuse to risk their lives in Aegean sea anymore to reach a european country where they’ll finally be safe, get basic human rights and have a chance to make a life for themselves. People started to move to Edirne last weekend (around the 10th of September) but very quickly the main bus station of Istanbul (Bayrampaşa) where they were all buying tickets and getting on the buses got blocked for them. The police detains them in the bus station itself, preventing them to buy tickets to Edirne. The government declared that now the migrants have to stay in the city where they had been registered on turkish territory. Which means that it’s now officially illegal for them to move inside the country, especially to Edirne. Currently, hundreds of people are blocked in Bayrampaşa otogar in Istanbul. About 1500 people who could make it to Edirne were blocked as well in Edirne
bus station while other 1500 people were in Edirne itself, splited in two groups in different places of the city, waiting for the others to join them and start to walk to the border according to their initial plan.

SUBJECT: CURRENT MIGRATORY CRISIS.

 

Dear governors of the western world,

In front of the chaotic and dramatic situation of the Syrian refugees which we bear witness to today, which adds up to many more, in particular those refugees fleeing African countries, and in front of which you have kept remarkably silent and complicit, which have now caught up with you, but which  you feign to discover with the terrible images of the drowned baby Aylan (may his soul rest in peace), broadcasted these days by your countries’ tv channel, I make it my citizen’s duty to send you this letter. For me it is a way to express my solidarity and compassion for  the Syrian refugees, as I have always done with other migrants and refugees from Africa, and as others have done with me when I was, together with fellow African refugees in the same situation of flight.
Furthermore, I would like to express to you my indignation towards this situation which of course is a result, for one thing, of your domination politics, which you never cease to produce, day and night, in your laboratories, and for the rest, of  the cynical, inhuman, and drastic so-called border-control measures which you have introduced.

First of all, I want to express all my solidarity to the Syrian men, women, children and babies who have lost their own or their beloved ones’ lives because they were fleeing the atrocities of war and  blood-shedding repression skillfully sparked, kept and orchestered by the system of this world’s mighty ones, and who have found themselves left to die and been denied entry in the countries where they could have found refuge. May the death, pain and suffering of these men, women, and defenseless children call out to the entire human community.

My thoughts also go to the migrants and refugees of subsaharian Africa, who fall in the desert, far away from TV channel’s cameras, and to those dying in the Mediterrannean every day, and who shall not be rescued lest, so the western world’s governors, many more try to come.

Presseerklärung/Resolution der TeilnehmerInnen der bundesweiten Refugee-Konferenz 21.-23.08.2015 in Hannover

Dieses bundesweite Treffen, organisiert vom Protestcamp der sudanesischen Geflüchteten auf dem Weißekreuzplatz in Hannover in Zusammenarbeit mit „Lampedusa in Hamburg“, dem „Refugee-Movement Berlin“ und der „Refugee-Bustour“, wurde unterstützt vom ver.di-Bildungswerk Niedersachsen, der Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Niedersachsen, der DFG/VK und dem Friedensbüro Hannover, radio flora sowie anderen Gruppen und Personen.

Drei Tage lang haben mehr als 150 Menschen aus dem ganzen Bundesgebiet sich über ihre Erfahrungen und Möglichkeiten des Widerstands gegen Alltagsrassismus und diskriminierende Asylgesetze ausgetauscht und beschlossen, sich künftig besser zu vernetzen und zusammenzuarbeiten. Die TeilnehmerInnen diskutierten in Workshops Fragen der aktuellen Asylgesetzgebung bzw. -verschärfung, die Situation in den Herkunftsländern der Geflüchteten und MigrantInnen und ihre Fluchtgründe sowie die spezifischen Anliegen, Forderungen und Aktionen von geflüchteten Frauen.

Flüchtlinge in Berlin menschenwürdig unterbringen und versorgen!

Spätestens seit November 2014 befinden sich die Standards der Unterbringung und Versorgung Asylsuchender in Berlin im freien Sinkflug: Container, Tragluft- und Turnhallen, und gänzlich obdachlos gelassene Asylsuchende. Der Flüchtlingsrat hat in den letzten Wochen die neuen Notunterkünfte besucht und mit zahlreichen Asylsuchenden, Beratungsstellen und Initiativen gesprochen. Wir ziehen Bilanz:

 

Unterbringung

Aktuell werden in Berlin von 62 Unterkünften für Asylsuchende 22 als “Notunterkünfte” deklariert und unter Nichteinhaltung der geltenden Mindeststandards belegt, darunter Schulen, Bürogebäude, zwei Traglufthallen und sieben Turnhallen.

In den Hallen fehlt es am Allernötigsten. Bis zu 200 Menschen sind gemeinsam in einem Raum untergebracht, in manchen Hallen stehen Feldbetten ohne jeden Sichtschutz dicht an dicht. Privatsphäre und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten gibt es nicht. Es fehlen Möglichkeiten Wäsche zu waschen und zu trocknen, es gibt oft keine Waschmaschinen. Schränke zur Aufbewahrung von Wertgegenständen, Kleidung und anderen persönlichen Gegenständen fehlen. Nur in den Traglufthallen und in einer Turnhalle wurden Schließfächer aufgestellt. Die Menschen sind in den Hallen anders als von Sozialsenator Czaja angekündigt nicht nur für wenige Tage, sondern häufig bereits seit Eröffnung der Notunterkunft, oft über Wochen und Monate untergebracht.

The campaign My Right Is Your Right! invites you

on Saturday, 21.03.2015 at 1:00 pm to a large demonstration at Spreewaldplatz in Berlin

in coordination with the International Day against Racism.

 

For more than two years now refugees and supporters in Berlin have been publicly and visibly fighting against the institutional racism in Germany and Europe, to which so many people are permanently subject in their daily lives. The acute and concrete demands of the refugees are the complete abolition of the Residenzpflicht,a stop to placing people in the Lagers as well as all deportations, and a right to remain, education, working possibilities and to live where one wishes – thus an end to the politically supported isolation of refugees. The campaign as well as the demonstration are directed against these racist practices and will bring the long-term demands of the refugees further into the public realm.

My Right Is Your Right! is a campaign comprised of refugees, creative artists, activists, lawyers, church officials, unionists, clubs and neighborhood initiatives that have now joined together to form a network.  What connects us all is the wish for a stronger political intervention in Berliner refugee policies. We are opening the doors of theaters and other public places for the request for more just policies with regards to refugees. Our demands are not new, rather they are the ones refugees in Germany have already been demanding for decades. For us, this is neither about charity or humanitarian aid. We are not only demanding changes from policy makers, but we want to fight daily racism and exclusion. Our goal is to establish a long-term infrastructure that deals with and works against forms of daily and structural racism. Hence the campaign offers an exchange of a variety of projects and offers: work, education, sleeping places, language courses and donations as well as performances and actions.

Widerstand gegen Sammelunterkünfte, sexuelle Ausbeutung und Kriminalisierung von Liebe

Berlin – Aktivistinnen laden zu einer Pressekonferenz gegen das deutsche Asylsystem ein. Anlass ist die Hochzeitsfeier einer von ihnen auf dem Oranienplatz.

Napuli Paul Langa beantragte 2012 Asyl in Deutschland. Doch der Staat, der weltweit Menschenrechte predigt, untersagt innerhalb seiner eigenen Grenzen das Menschenrecht auf Asyl. Das gilt auch für Frauen. Geschlechtsspezifische Verfolgung wurde zwar 2005 als Asylgrund eingeführt, wird jedoch weiterhin kaum anerkannt. Dass außerdem politische Verfolgung bei Frauen als Asylgrund nicht zur Geltung kommt, zeigt auch das Warten von Napuli Paul Langa – deren Asylantrag trotz ihres Aktivismus im Sudan bis heute unbeantwortet bleibt. Wenn die Bundesrepublik Frauen ihr Recht auf Asyl nicht gewährt, müssen diese oft sexuelle Ausbeutung deutscher Männer in Kauf nehmen, um durch Ehe oder Vaterschaft an einen sicheren Aufenthalt und an Grundrechte, wie das Recht auf Arbeit, zu gelangen. Die institutionellen und individuellen Täter dieser systematischen Menschenrechtsverletzungen bleiben unbestraft.
