The first issue of the newspaper ›Daily Resistance‹ is now out!

It is a newspaper published and written by people, so-called refugees, who don’t accept their disfranchisement by the German state. They write about their fight and share their opinions to reach out to people who are in the same situation.

It will be published monthly. Read the Newspaper-PDF. (You can find the print version here)

The authors and publishers are actively fighting against the criminal German state and the establishment suiting themselves. You can join and contribute to the newspaper as an author or join as translater, lecturer, editor, photographer, distributer, … get in contact with us: dailyresistance@oplatz.net

For now, there are 2000 copies waiting to be distributed throughout the lagers of Berlin and other places where newcomers can be reached. 300 copies will go to Munich, others to Göttingen, Cologne, Würzburg, …

In the next days the parliament will vote on a new law. This racist law is directed aggressively against refugees.

They Asylum Package II includes:
• “Special reception camps” for people from “secure” countries of origin, or people who are accused to have destroyed their documents, will be opened. In these camps the asylum procedure should be completed in three weeks with the aim to deport people faster.
• People coming from a country where there is war and who have the status of ‘Subsidiary Protection’ shall not be allowed to bring their family from abroad during the first two years of their stay.
• Deportations of people who are sick will be easier. Illnesses that people had already before they came to Germany will not be an obstacle to deportations anymore.
• Algeria, Tunesia and Marokko shall be declared as secure countries of origin in order to deport people more easily.

This Asylum Package II is an act of isolationist politics and division!
Let us not be played off against each other! Let’s get on the streets and be loud against these racist laws, against the violence of camp security and against the Lagers!

For the right to stay and the right to family for everyone!

Wir machen es kurz: Die Verabschiedung des Asylpaket 3 steht vor der Tür! Die darin verhandelten Gesetzesänderungen stellen ein Verhöhnung schutzsuchender Menschen und des Begriffes Asylrecht dar. Sie sind ein Schlag ins Gesicht für die Aktivist*innen die in den letzten Jahren für ein Verbesserung der Lebenssituation geflüchteter Menschen gekämpft haben und kämpfen. Außerdem sind sie Wasser auf den Mühlen der besorgten Bürger*innen und Asylkritiker*innen, deren Rassismus ein weiteres Mal staatliche Bestätigung erfährt! Ganz nebenbei wird auch der Abschiebeknast in Grünau mehr oder weniger ‘neu’ eröffnet….

September 2014, Oplatz Refugees Protest beim Bundesrat gegen Asylgesetzverschärfung

Unser Bruder und Freund Hikmet Prizreni wurde verhaftet und ihm droht die Abschiebung! In einem Blitzverfahren wurde Hikmet dem Haftrichter vorgeführt  und befindet sich zur zur Zeit in Untersuchungshaft. “Wir sind frei geboren! Jeder Mensch ist frei geboren und hat das Recht, sich frei zu bewegen. Hikmet hat das Recht zu leben, wo er will. Die Regierung muss Hikmet Rechte respektieren und ihn frei lassen.”  – Bino, human defender vom Oplatz
Da er lediglich in diesem Land geduldet ist, droht ihm nun die Abschiebung in den Kosovo. Ein Land, welches er nicht kennt und in dem er als Roma Diskriminierungen und Gewalt ausgesetzt ist. Hikmet, vielen auch bekannt als Künstler Prince-H, engagiert sich mit seiner Musik und Tatkraft und tritt auf kulturellen und menschenrechtlichen Veranstaltungen auf. Wir kennen ihn als humorvollen Querdenker, der zum friedlichen Miteinander, ohne Diskriminierung und Ausgrenzung anderer Kulturen aufruft!
Hinter jeder Abschiebung steckt auch immer ein Mensch! In diesem Fall ist es Hikmet Prizreni. Lassen Sie uns gemeinsam gegen die Abschiebung von Hikmet die Stimme erheben, und fordern daher FREIHEIT und Bleiberecht für HIKMET P. aka Prince-H !!!!

Im Rahmen der Asylrechtsverschärfungen vom 6. November 2014 und 15. Oktober 2015 wurden unter anderem die Staaten Serbien, Mazedonien, Bosnien und Herzegowina sowie Albanien, Kosovo, Montenegro als sogenannte „sichere“ Herkunftsstaaten eingestuft:

Staaten, in denen weder politische Verfolgung noch „unmenschliche oder erniedrigende Bestrafung und Behandlung stattfindet“ (Formulierung des deutschen Grundgesetzes)

Eine Recherchereise des Bündnisses „alle bleiben!“ zur Situation der Roma nach Mazedonien, Serbien und Kosovo hat noch einmal bestätigt, dass die Situation vor Ort nichts mit sog. „sicheren“ Herkunftsländern zu tun hat und eher etwas über die bestehende Haltung in Deutschland aussagt.

Am Donnerstag, den 24.9. treffen sich beim sog. „Flüchtlingsgipfel“ die Regierungen von Bund und Ländern um die Asylgesetzgebung zu verschärfen. Unter dem Titel „Fehlanreize beseitigen!“ liegt ein Gesetzespaket vor, in dem der Aufenthalt Geflüchteter in Deutschland so unattraktiv wie möglich gestaltet werden soll. Geplant sind beispielsweise die Wiedereinführung der Residenzpflicht und Sachleistungen statt Bargeld, sowie schnellere Abschiebungen durch eine Ausweitung der Liste sogenannter sicherer Drittstaaten. Trotz humanitärer Hilfeleistungen der Bevölkerung gehören rassistische Mobilisierungen und Angriffe auf Geflüchtete weiterhin zum Alltag in Deutschland. Überdeckt durch die medial inszenierte „neue deutsche Willkommenskultur“ lautet die politische Antwort der Bundesregierung weiterhin Abschottung und Abschiebung. Deshalb werden wir unseren Protest vors Bundeskanzlerinamt tragen und deutlich sagen

Restriction instead of welcome: grand coalition decides package of measures against refugees

Furthermore the refugees will again receive vouchers and food parcels – according to the motto: Eat what comes from the office. In this way several instruments of deterrence and exclusion policies of the nineties, which had been liberalized step by step only in recent years, are reactivated.
The six-month placement in first Reception Centers will exacerbate the already disastrous accommodation situation. To increase the accommodation capacity two or threefold of the existing facilities will create unbearable living conditions for thousands of people, fuelling conflicts within the facilities themselves, marginalizing and stigmatizing those affected. The promise of the federal government to increase the capacity of the Reception Centers of about 45,000 to 150,000 will be impossible to achieve in the short term.
