Refugees welcome, but…

In recent months, but a thousand refugees came out of the war in the Middle East and Africa to Europe.

On the one hand, the mainstream media in Europe showed just tired and destroyed faces and bodies of these people – Without to focus or analyze much the “whys” and “wherefores”. Similarly, Germany and the German majority society like to represent herself as benefactress, but not as the one who also causes the catastrophe.

Dieses bundesweite Treffen, organisiert vom Protestcamp der sudanesischen Geflüchteten auf dem Weißekreuzplatz in Hannover in Zusammenarbeit mit „Lampedusa in Hamburg“, dem „Refugee-Movement Berlin“ und der „Refugee-Bustour“, wurde unterstützt vom ver.di-Bildungswerk Niedersachsen, der Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Niedersachsen, der DFG/VK und dem Friedensbüro Hannover, radio flora sowie anderen Gruppen und Personen.

Drei Tage lang haben mehr als 150 Menschen aus dem ganzen Bundesgebiet sich über ihre Erfahrungen und Möglichkeiten des Widerstands gegen Alltagsrassismus und diskriminierende Asylgesetze ausgetauscht und beschlossen, sich künftig besser zu vernetzen und zusammenzuarbeiten. Die TeilnehmerInnen diskutierten in Workshops Fragen der aktuellen Asylgesetzgebung bzw. -verschärfung, die Situation in den Herkunftsländern der Geflüchteten und MigrantInnen und ihre Fluchtgründe sowie die spezifischen Anliegen, Forderungen und Aktionen von geflüchteten Frauen.

Egal wie wir die Sache drehen und wenden – eine Änderung der Zustände ist leider noch immer nicht abzusehen, nicht in Freital und nicht anderswo. Meldungen rassistischer Übergriffe und von Angriffen auf Unterkünfte für Asylsuchende sind mittlerweile an der Tagesordnung. Nachdem in Freital über Monate der rassistische Mob gegen eine Unterkunft gewütet hatte, waren die Proteste in der letzten Juniwoche eskaliert, nachdem bekannt wurde, dass weitere Geflüchtete aus der Erstaufnahme in Chemnitz nach Freital verlegt werden. Daraufhin versammelten sich die ganze Woche über mehrmals hunderte rassistische Anwohner_innen und Neonazis direkt vor der Unterkunft. So wurde nach den Fackelmärschen in Schneeberg erneut ein Ort in Sachsen medial zum Symbolbild für die hässlichen Deutschen und den rassistischen Mob. Dieses Bild entfaltete seine Wirkung zumindest soweit, dass die Organisator_innen der „Nein zu Heim“-Kampagne alle weiteren Versammlungen vor dem Heim unterließen.

In their lager a camera was installed in a toilet window , and they closed the toilet. As they protest for having toilet open, come 80 police into the heim and they release the dogs inside the lager. this is what they wrote:

If you are a non-white man or a woman living in Germany, you have probably – at least once during your stay here – been asked by the police to show your personal documents without any obvious reasons behind that behavior. This act could take place anywhere in Germany, especially in the trains, train-stations and public spaces. You might have been also wondering why they did exactly choose YOU among tens or hundreds of white people to ask you for your personal documents. Often is the answer my color of skin, my clothing style, my language …, everything that makes you look different than this nation.

It is a feeling of injustice when you are the only one in the train compartment who is asked to show your ID, I feel disrespected, insulted, discriminated. I see the police as racist executors!
The police uses the power of law to justify the execution of racist controls, they use the fear that most refugees and migrants are carrying with them from their home countries, they use the unjustified and miserable silence of some us!

The policemen and -women will happily tell you that racism cannot be a crime in Germany, so you can’t charge them for being racist at all. But on the other side – if you tell him or her “you are racist!” they will feel insulted and will run to the nearest court to let you be prosecuted for “insult” (Beleidigung). This is the broken logic that the system in Germany tries to play with us.

One of the many definitions of the Racial Profiling is as follow …“Any police-initiated action that relies on the race, ethnicity, or national origin rather than the behavior of an individual or information that leads the police to a particular individual who has been identified as being, or having been, engaged in criminal activity.”. We are getting criminalized for being or looking different.

On the 07th September 2014 around 14:45h two federal policemen from Meiningen asked me in the train heading to Meiningen to show my ID document for NO REASON. I was the only one controlled because I was the only non-white in the compartment. When I asked them why they are asking for my ID, their answer was as follow “This our job and the law gave us the right to control…”. I told them that this behavior is no more tolerated by court decisions in Germany and gave them some examples where the court said that the policeman hasn’t the right to control a person based on his skin color and if that happened than this is racist and no more a “legal control”. I used the Koblenz Court’s Judgment as a reference.

I insisted to go to their police station at Meinigen train station to hand in complaint about these two policemen. I spent more than one hour in their station to do this complaint against the two of them. A month later I received a letter from the public prosecution office telling me that I’m accused of “insulting the two policemen” claiming I’ve told them “you’re racist”. I knew that it wasn’t more than a sneaky try from them to hit back against my complaint that I wrote with insisting intention of taking the two to the courts. This dirty game that the German policemen routinely play is about LIE. They have lie to justify their wrong behaviors by falsifying misrepresentation.

I am determined to face them in Arnstadt District Court on the 28th May 2015 at 10:00 to expose their lies to the public. I did NOT say what they are claiming. If I would have said it, I wasn’t to deny it! Be the witness! Your solidarity is another key in this fight against racial profiling in Germany. Let them hear us!

Osnabrück : Massenabschiebung Kosovo aus Lager Bramsche-Hesepe – Nachbericht zur Mahnwache

Nachbericht zur Mahnwache anlässlich einer Massenabschiebung in den Kosovo aus dem Lager Bramsche-Hesepe

What does free will mean? After the demo in osnabruck against mass deportation of Kosovoans, Niedersächsische Innenministerium stated that it is not a deportation, but a voluntary departure (freiwilligen Ausreise). He doesn’t mention that if the refugees resist against this departure, the social aids will cut and they get a ban of entering EU for 15 years!

Hunderte von Menschen hatten sich in der Nacht vom 12. auf den 13. Mai vor der Niedersächsischen Erstaufnahmeeinrichtung für Geflüchtete in Bramsche-Hesepe versammelt. Die Einen – eine Gruppe von ca. 30 Kosovaren, um abgeschoben zu werden. Die Anderen – ebenfalls im Lager untergebrachte Geflüchtete sowie Aktivist_innen und Unterstützer_innen aus Osnabrück und Umgebung, um Bekannte und Freund_innen zu verabschieden, die Abzuschiebenden nicht allein zu lassen und durch eine friedliche Mahnwache ein Zeichen zu setzen.

Osnabrücker_innen verhindern für gewöhnlich Abschiebungen und so fühlten sich viele der Anwesenden hilflos und unwohl, als sie nur zusehen konnten, wie die Abzuschiebenden ihr Gepäck in den bereitstehenden Bus luden, diesen bestiegen und schließlich fortgefahren wurden. Die gemeinsame nächtliche Zeit wurde dennoch genutzt – für den Vortrag einer Stellungnahme No Lagers u.a. zu den deutschen Scheinasylverfahren für kosovarische Menschen und die mit der Unantastbarkeit der menschlichen Würde kaum vereinbare Lagerunterbringung (siehe Anhang). Auch ergriffen Lagerbewohner die Möglichkeit, ihre Kritik an der Situation im Lager und Worte zu ihrer aussichtlosen Situation öffentlich kund zu tun.

Die Anwesenden beschäftigte außerdem Folgendes: Nachdem No Lager Osnabrück zu einer Mahnwache anlässlich der Massenabschiebung in den Kosovo aufgerufen hatte, bezog das Niedersächsische Innenministerium Stellung: Die Kosovaren würden nicht abgeschoben, sondern „das Angebot der freiwilligen Ausreise“ nutzen. Setzt Freiwilligkeit nicht die Gelegenheit voraus, sich zwischen verschiedenen Optionen entscheiden und ein Angebot ablehnen zu können? Für die in Lagern unter katastrophalen Bedingungen lebenden Kosovaren, die, nachdem ihre Asylanträge abgelehnt wurden, wissen, dass die deutsche Politik und Verwaltung sie nicht wollen und ein Leben in Deutschland nicht möglich ist (siehe dazu auch den sehr informativen Artikel „Sonderverfahren für Balkanier“ aus der taz), bedeutet ein Widersprechen der „freiwilligen Ausreise“ Kürzung oder Streichung der Sozialleistungen sowie eine Wiedereinreisesperre in die EU von bis zu 15 Jahren. So entscheiden sich dann viele, den Bus zurück in das Herkunftsland „freiwillig“ zu besteigen. Für uns bleiben es Abschiebungen.

NO LAGER OSNABRÜCK
